Larry McAllister, the owner and former president of Eagle Group, a commercial foodservice equipment manufacturer, passed away on Aug. 10 after a lengthy battle with cancer, announced FEDA.

“If you were lucky enough to know Larry, you know that he fought his cancer stubbornly, pridefully and feverishly,” says his son, Chase McAllister, Eagle Group’s president. “He attacked his diagnosis with the same mentality he ran his business.”

McAllister is remembered as an entrepreneur whose passion and hobby was Eagle Group, according to Chase.

A celebration of life will be held on Oct. 1 at Maple Dale Country Club in Dover, Del. Charitable donations can be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.
