Manufacturers’ rep EMC Hospitality is welcoming two to its roster.
Joe Ronquillo has been hired as its institutional and chain territory manager for the equipment sales division in Southern California, while Niko Scholey joins as the territory manager of distribution sales for San Diego.
Ronquillo will look to grow EMC Hospitality’s equipment sales, primarily focusing on healthcare, military and chain accounts. He previously worked as an equipment specialist at US Foods.
Scholey, meanwhile, is taking over for Drew Baumann, who is retiring. He brings a background in hospitality and sales service, and he will primarily be calling on distributors and dealers in the San Diego market.
EMC serves the entire West Coast (California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii) in the hospitality channel, representing makers of smallwares, tabletop, buffet, furniture and equipment. The company maintains a test kitchen/showroom in Orange County, Calif., a showroom in downtown Los Angeles, a test kitchen/showroom in Emeryville, Calif., and a demo kitchen/showroom in Tacoma, Wash.
