Fuzzy’s Upgrades Frozen Drink Machines, More
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop will open a model in Texas that delivers tableside service, plus equipment and tech enhancements.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, part of Dine Brands Global, will open a model this Monday in Sugar Land, Texas, that offers a couple changes from its traditional locations.
To start, the location will go by the name Fuzzy’s Tacos and Margs. And instead of guests ordering at the counter and collecting their food at a pickup window, they’ll receive tableside service. Equipment and tech enhancements and a revamped menu also are part of the plan.
Specifically, in an email to FER, Fuzzy’s points to the following enhancements:
- Top-of-the-line frozen margarita machines to elevate frozen beverage offerings
- Technology with handheld tablets to streamline service
- Trays and taco holders that enhance the presentation of food
- More TVs and a premium sound system designed to create a vibrant, social atmosphere that encourages guests to stay awhile.
“We’re excited to pilot this new model that puts hospitality front and center while simplifying the overall experience for our guests,” says Patrick Kirk, president of Fuzzy’s, in the release. “Sugar Land is helping us find that sweet spot between fast casual and full-service, with a streamlined menu, bold new taco creations, and a margarita lineup that puts our bar front and center.”
The refreshed menu focuses on tacos, both new and fan favorites. Texas Brisket Taco, Cali-Style Steak Taco and Sonora Relleno (vegetarian) mark a few examples. Beverages include cocktails like the Paloma ‘Rita, dunked with a bottle of grapefruit Jarritos, Watermelon ‘Rita, and frozen creations like the Fuzz Driver and Double Rum Daiquiri.
The Sugar Land location is owned by the NGE group and operated by brothers Miro and Andrew Nazarian. The group has signed an agreement to open three Fuzzy’s locations by the end of 2025. Overall, the brand has 115 units across 15 states.
