Hatco Acquires FWE

Milwaukee, Wis.-based Hatco, a manufacturer of warming, toasting, holding, cooking, sanitizing and cooling equipment for the foodservice industry, announced it has acquired Food Warming Equipment Co. (FWE).

With locations in Crystal Lake, Ill., and Portland, Tenn., FWE manufactures heated holding cabinets, cook and hold ovens, smokers, refrigerated cabinets and more. Hatco says the acquisition of the nearly 70-year-old company strengthens its offerings in multiple industry segments.

The acquisition comes nearly one month after the Wisconsin-based company acquired American Range, a manufacturer of commercial and residential cooking appliances.
