Hatco Corp. has promoted Lorne Deacon to the role of president. He succeeds David Rolston, president and CEO, who will retain the CEO position for two more years prior to planned retirement.

Deacon’s promotion serves as part of a long-term succession plan orchestrated by Hatco’s board of directors, according to a press release.

He moved up to vice president of global marketing in 2019 before becoming executive vice president, his most recent role, in 2021. His first position in the foodservice industry was in 2013 as an executive at Middleby, specifically for Star Holdings.

Hatco, based in Milwaukee, produces warming, toasting, holding, cooking, sanitizing and cooling equipment.
