Commercial foodservice equipment manufacturer Henny Penny recently broke ground on a nearly $10 million expansion project at its Eaton, Ohio, headquarters campus.

Anticipated to be completed late next year, the project will result in a 30,000-square-foot building with spaces dedicated to well-being, according to the company. Such spaces include an expanded 3,500-square-foot onsite clinic, a new 4,000-square-foot fitness room and a 17,000-square-foot multipurpose space for the company’s 1,000-plus employee-owners to gather.

The manufacturer says the project’s design and layout will support “mental, physical, financial and social well-being, along with personal rejuvenation, growth, learning and collaboration.”

On the heels of the groundbreaking, Henny Penny celebrated the grand opening of the Henny Penny Five Rivers Campus, its first office space in downtown Dayton, Ohio. Located on the first floor of The Manhattan building, the 5,000-square-foot space houses a team of electrical engineers and software developers. It features flexible workspaces, conference rooms and a lounge area.
