Hoshizaki Announces 2 New Hires

Plus, a former area sales manager takes on a new role and responsibilities for the Georgia-based maker.

Hoshizaki America is sharing a trio of timely personnel updates, with one promotion and two new additions to its teams.

The details are as follows:

  • Steve Wright, a two-year employee of the manufacturer and 26-year industry veteran, has been appointed as the manager, strategic dealers. Hoshizaki says he possesses the skills to handle complex accounts, as proven during his tenure as an area sales manager with the company. Wright is a Certified Foodservice Professional and Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative.
  • John Blizzard joins the strategic sales team as the manager of strategic sales. He will play a key role in collaborating with Hoshizaki’s regional sales team and channel partners to drive new business initiatives within national chains, consultants and the medical channel, notes a release. With over 20 years of industry experience, Blizzard brings a unique perspective, with a background in manufacturing, sales as a manufacturers’ rep and sales on the dealer side.
  • Lastly, Kevin Geyer joins the manufacturer as its newest area sales manager, supporting the Michigan territory. Geyer joins Hoshizaki from Parks Maintenance, where he cultivated long-term industry relationships while selling foodservice equipment. He has worked in the industry for over 18 years.
