Peachtree City, Ga.-based Hoshizaki America has made two shifts within its sales team.

For one, Brian Rakers, an employee of the manufacturer since 2019, has been promoted to the role of senior sales director in the Eastern zone. Rakers most recently served as regional sales director for the Northeastern region—a position he was promoted to after starting out as a senior account manager in the South Central region.

“Brian has demonstrated himself to be a confident leader, communicator and problem solver, capable of making tough decisions and always pushing for improvement and growth,” says Allan Dziwoki, senior VP of sales and marketing, in a press release. “Those qualities will serve him well as he takes on the responsibility of leading a new, larger territory.”

Further, Hoshizaki has promoted Dan Cazalet to regional sales director of its Western region. Cazalet has 18 years with Hoshizaki under his belt, and has held varying roles, including quality engineer, senior service manager, branch manager and, most recently, senior operations manager.

“Dan’s operational and sales manager experience coupled with his strong analytical skills, desire to learn and passion for improving both the product and customer experience made him the clear choice to fill this role,” says Scott Meyer, VP of sales, in a release. “We are excited to see how Dan’s background will allow him to take the position to the next level.”
