Little Caesars has signed one of its largest franchise agreements in Canada.
North Sun Energy, a fuel and convenience retailer in Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, will open 18 locations in its gas stations and convenience stores. The first location will open this summer at the North Atlantic and Orangestore location in Clarenville, Newfoundland.
The locations will feature the Little Caesars Express restaurant model, which operates in as little as 450 square feet with no more than two employees at a time.
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our growth strategy as we continue expanding across Canada,” says Chloe Battalia, managing director, Canada at Little Caesars, in the release. “Our relationship with North Sun Energy exemplifies the kind of strategic alignment that enables us to bring Little Caesars to more nontraditional formats.”
Detroit-based Little Caesars continues to grow its unit count outside the U.S. It recently expanded to India, marking its 30th country of operation.
