LTI Inc. has shared several company updates, including a retirement, promotion and new representation.

Today, LTI announced the retirement of Mike Purcell, vice president of sales and marketing, effective June 2. Purcell has been a part of LTI since 1996.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mike for his outstanding contributions to LTI over the years. His dedication, expertise and leadership have played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s trajectory,” says Barbara Casey Lane, president of LTI, in a statement.

As part of the strategic transition plan, LTI announced the promotion of Johnnie Merchant to vice president of sales and marketing. Merchant, who joined LTI as a regional sales manager in April, brings over 30 years of experience in leadership roles within the foodservice industry. Merchant will work closely with Purcell over the next six months to ensure a smooth transition into his new role.

Also of note, LTI shared on Dec. 15 that it has partnered with The Hansen Group. The Hansen Group will serve as a manufacturers’ rep in the MAFSI Region 14, which includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
