Derek Brodt, formerly of Duke Mfg. and Unified Brands, has joined Electrolux Professional Group Americas as its director of customer care.

In the role, Brodt will drive the long-term strategic vision and direction of the manufacturer’s branded service program, Essentia. He will work to create a seamless after-sale customer experience in support of the program’s mission “to elevate customer care to a new level through comprehensive maintenance programs,” says a release.

“Expanding our Essentia-exclusive services will continue to provide additional value to the market while allowing us to deliver on our promise of being customer obsessed,” says Brodt.

After serving in the U.S. Army, Brodt joined the industry in 2015. He spent five years at Unified Brands, working as a production manager and business development manager, and then joined Duke Mfg., where he worked as the business development manager for chains.
