Andrea Coldwell, general manager of Middleby Marshall since last August, is stepping into an elevated role.

Now, as president of Mundelein, Ill.-based Carter-Hoffmann, she will lead the operations and strategic initiatives for three of Middleby’s brands: Carter-Hoffmann, Nu-Vu and Doyon.

Previously, at Middleby Marshall, Coldwell made on-site process improvements resulting in immediate efficiency gains. She also was deeply involved in the development, branding and marketplace launch of several products.

Before she was GM, Coldwell was controller for Middleby Marshall and, before Middleby, she was senior operations controlling manager at the food and beverage manufacturer Mizkan, where she oversaw 14 manufacturing sites.

“Andrea has proven to be an effective and inspiring leader, achieving many milestones in a relatively short timeframe,” says James K. Pool III, Middleby chief technology and operations officer, in a release. “Andrea’s broad experience in accounting, operations, and engineering has been an asset to all at Middleby. I am confident the well-known brands and product innovations from Carter-Hoffmann, Nu-Vu and Doyon are well-positioned for future success under her leadership.”
