Mikasa Hospitality has appointed Katie Connelly as its director of national accounts.

In this role, she will cover the southeast (the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee and Florida) and national accounts, specializing in hotel brands.

Connelly’s journey within the hospitality industry began in restaurants and hotels at a young age, from serving and bartending to time as a line chef. She later transitioned into foodservice sales, starting in internal sales support and later holding roles including regional sales manager, director of national accounts and vice president of sales.

“Making a bespoke dining experience come to life based on the customer’s vision is the most rewarding part of this job,” Connelly says. “Getting to dine there afterwards is a plus!”

When she’s not working, Connelly enjoys horseback riding, traveling, theater, discovering new restaurants or spending time with her two Portuguese water dogs, Nani and Mahri.
