Minnesota’s Smart Care Names New COO, CIO

Smart Care Equipment Solutions, a provider of commercial kitchen equipment repair and maintenance services, announced a pair of promotions on April 13, with Christopher Buschmann being named chief information officer and Gyner Ozgul chief operating officer.

Ozgul joined the company in 2003, starting as a service manager. He has since contributed in the areas of field service, customer care, acquisitions, sales, supply chain, and IT, according to Smart Care. In his new role, Ozgul will be charged with responsibilities encompassing field management, customer care, training, acquisitions, OEM relationships, supply chain and IT.

 

Buschmann, who has been with the company since 2018, has aided in IT organization, the implementation of new field service and ERP systems, and more. As chief information officer, he will continue to build Smart Care’s technology platforms.
