Oven Maker Creates New Job As It Eyes Expansion in India

Alto-Shaam APAC is expanding its support system in India with the creation of a new role: regional sales and culinary manager.

Taking the gig is Arpita Raj, who brings 12 years of experience in culinary supervision, consultancy and operations. She will report to Vijay Pawar, Alto-Shaam’s regional director for sales and culinary in India.

Raj will tap her culinary skills and strategic experience to foster new client relationships with foodservice distributors, design consultancy firms and key account end users, Alto-Shaam says.

Most recently, Raj served as the culinary head for a commercial refrigeration and foodservice equipment company in India, handling its operations, sales support, R&D, and product alignment for key accounts.

Stateside, Alto-Shaam recently brought on Tamara Scott as its new regional sales manager in the southeast region. Read more on that here:
