Global chain Paris Baguette is welcoming a new chief operating officer into the fold.

Zac Sulma brings multiunit experience in the entertainment and hospitality space. At Paris Baguette, he will serve as a key leader, working to scale the chain’s operational processes while keeping a focus on the franchise owners they support.

Sulma joins at a time when the French-inspired bakery cafe franchise has nearly 260 units in the U.S. Yet, it’s working toward 1,000 U.S. units by 2030.

“The number one goal for me, as we work toward 1,000 cafes, is to do that effectively,” says Sulma. “It’s not just a 1,000-unit finish line; our focus is on getting there with efficient, high-performing cafés while maintaining the operational performance of our current locations.”
