The first phase of the expansion and renovation of T&S Brass and Bronze Works’ headquarters and plant in Travelers Rest, S.C., has wrapped up as the manufacturer works to meet growing customer needs.

Kicking off in late 2020, phase one added 53,000 sq. ft. of space to the facility, creating new distribution space, as well as a training room, additional offices and other facility enhancements. The second and final phase of the project, which currently is ongoing, will convert the former shipping and receiving dock area into additional manufacturing space to increase capacity, as well as add new signage, fencing and campus wayfinding markers.

“These projects enable T&S Brass to meet the growing needs of our customers in the U.S. and around the world,” says Michael Williams, operations manager for T&S Brass and Bronze Works, in a press release. “We’re very excited about the changes and improvements that will enhance the work environment for our team while supporting the success of T&S.”

The $10.3 million improvement project was announced in September 2019. Despite COVID-19 delaying the project’s start, it’s on track to meet the original completion date of fall 2024.

T&S Brass and Bronze Works, a manufacturer of commercial plumbing equipment since 1947, has facilities on the east and west coasts of the U.S., in Shanghai, China, and Europe.
