Polar King Mobile Lands Dealer in Pacific Northwest

Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Polar King Mobile has added FMI Truck Sales and Service as a dealer, giving customers in the Pacific Northwest easier access to its refrigerated trailer solutions.

Portland, Ore.-based FMI Truck Sales and Service owns and operates for locations in the state that provide truck sales and rentals, service repairs and a body and equipment division. The company was founded in May 1985 as a repair and maintenance facility for truck fleets, according to its website, and has grown to encompass 26 technicians and 10 parts specialists.

“FMI Truck Sales and Service is well-respected and recognized throughout Portland and southwest Washington for their excellent products, repair work and first-rate customer service,” says Christian Aitken, Polar King Mobile executive vice president, in a press release. “We are excited to welcome FMI to our rapidly growing U.S. dealer network.”

Polar King Mobile says it is working to create a network of dealers across the country by recruiting trailer distributors from the North American Trailer Dealers Association. Earlier this summer, the company added Spencer and Co. as a dealer in the Great Plains and Visto’s Trailer Sales in North Dakota.
