Premier Foodservice Group, a manufacturers’ representative in the foodservice equipment and supply industry, expanded its team with the hiring of Boyd Rose as corporate chef.

Rose has spent years in the industry, most recently serving as executive chef and partner at Secreto Southern Kitchen and Milton’s Cuisine and Cocktails. Boyd has received several industry awards, including Open Table’s Top 100 Diner’s Choice Award, and was featured on the “Great American Chefs Tour” television series.

“We are very excited to have Chef Boyd join our team as corporate chef. His knowledge, experience and presentation skills will be invaluable in helping to get the most out of our new design and training center,” says Dan Schorr, president of Premier Foodservice Group, in a press release.

Boyd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in food service management and an Associate of Arts degree in culinary arts, both from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, S.C.

Since joining Premier Foodservice Group on Sept. 1, Boyd has been working alongside Richard Filitor as he transitions toward retirement.
