Publisher’s Note: Off to a Strong Start

With 2025 being a NAFEM year, a MUFES year and plenty more, it’s destined to be a good one.

Happy 2025! It’s crazy, but like many of you, when thinking about the year ahead, I always find I’m asking myself if it’s a NAFEM year. I used to ask the same thing about our Multiunit Foodservice Equipment Symposium (MUFES) but that stopped a few years ago when we made it an annual event, thanks to all of you pushing and prodding us.

I couldn’t be more excited for MUFES 2025, taking place in Clearwater Beach, Fla., this January. I’m also counting down the days to The NAFEM Show in February! Why do I love these events? Well, first, my team and I are equipment geeks, and we can’t wait to talk about and see the latest and greatest products. Second, if you’re anything like me, touching the equipment, being together with my peers and seeing old friends is not only motivating, but also invigorating. Mix that in with the National Restaurant Association Show, HostMilano and a number of the other important shows and conferences, and we have the makings of a huge year. Speaking of a huge year, my New Year’s prediction is that 2025 is going to be a strong one in the foodservice industry!

From all of us, to all of you, best wishes for a happy and healthy 2025. If I don’t see you at MUFES, then I hope you will stop by the FER Booth 5100 at The NAFEM Show and say hi to Allison, Lauren, Rich, Todd, Christine and me.

See you then,
