Publisher’s Note: Spring Ahead

FER’s Top Dealers Report and National Restaurant Association Show preview are in the immediate forecast.

Warmer temperatures and blooming flowers mean spring has arrived and with it, our annual FER Top Dealers Report and preview of the National Restaurant Association Show. You’ll find both features in our May/June issue, and they mark two important topics.

Dealers play a crucial role in the FE&S supply chain. They help operators make sense of what equipment is available, how to specify it and can often help with kitchen design. They are true experts in their craft, saving their clients time and money. Our editors help you navigate the landscape in the report. It’s unlike any other rankings in that FER requires dealers to verify their revenue; this way operators, consultants and others know the numbers are credible.

The National Restaurant Association Show will take place in May and after living through a pandemic and unprecedented supply chain issues, this year’s edition has the potential to be an equipment showstopper. Sure, the show focuses on all areas of foodservice, but we all know that equipment is where it’s at. Be sure to sign up for our newsletters here. The editors also will be walking the show floor with a camera crew and interviewing key manufacturers. Be sure to watch those videos to find out about the latest products.

Thanks for reading and see you real soon!
