Zink Foodservice will acquire Rep Concepts, a manufacturers’ rep firm, founded in 2010, providing storage and tabletop solutions in the Illinois and Wisconsin marketplace. The deal will close by September 1.

“We are thrilled to have reached an agreement to have Stephanie O’Donoghue [founder of Rep Concepts] and her associates join the Zink team,” says Jim Zink, managing partner of Zink Foodservice, in a statement. “Her organization shares our core values, and most importantly, they will immediately augment our leadership, sales and client support teams in the Illinois and Wisconsin marketplace.”

O’Donoghue says, “I’m very pleased and excited to have our organization join forces with the Zink team. As this industry continues to mature and consolidate, this was an ideal opportunity for Rep Concepts. We could not be more excited about our future together. Being employee owned, Zink has a special culture that was attractive to us. With their extensive systems, product portfolio, and geographic footprint, this union brings instant value to our employees, manufacturers, and clients.”

Zink Foodservice is part of Zink Corp., an employee-owned company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, with offices throughout Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky and Western Pennsylvania. Zink Corp. also includes Zink Hospitality, Z-Ventilation Solutions, AIM National, Wenger Temperature Control and ZCS Distribution.
