Steelite Int’l., a manufacturer and supplier of tabletop and buffet solutions for the hospitality industry, has acquired Hollowick, a U.S.-based provider of tabletop lighting and food-warming solutions.

The acquisition will give Steelite ownership of Hollowick products and distribution to hospitality markets across the globe, allowing the manufacturer to expand its product offerings. Manufacturing will permanently remain at Hollowick’s facility in Manlius, N.Y., and orders will continue to be fulfilled and distributed through that facility.

“The manufacturing plant is crucial to our future success with the Hollowick acquisition. Steelite Int’l., at its core, provides innovative, high-quality tableware and buffet products driven toward the hospitality market. Hollowick embodies all these values that we, as a business, never forget,” says Steelite Int’l. President and CEO John Miles in a press release.

In the future, Steelite says it will look to consolidate the sales, marketing, back-office and distribution functions where significant levels of efficiency can be found.

Hollowick was established in 1971 and is a second-generation, family-owned business focused on “helping customers create an ambiance and presentation that will keep guests coming back.”

“As Hollowick continues our factory operations in Manlius, we are energized by the synergies between Hollowick and Steelite. We know this great opportunity will allow us to serve the foodservice industry for many years to come,” says Hollowick Owners Anne and Jerry Menter in a press release.

Steelite has dual headquarters in New Castle, Penn., and Stoke-on-Trent, U.K., along with a 500,000-sq.ft. manufacturing facility and 12 showrooms worldwide.
