The commercial foodservice equipment repair and maintenance company Tech24 is expanding its service area in the southeast after acquiring Jackson, Miss.-based Temco.

Temco, a provider of R&M services for commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment, has a large focus on hot-side and refrigeration for its foodservice equipment customers. The acquisition marks Tech24’s ninth and serves as part of its growth plan to increase its nationwide presence, the company says.

“We are thrilled to welcome Temco to the Tech24 organization,” says Dan Rodstrom, CEO of Tech24, in a press release. “The combination of our companies allows us to enter the rapidly growing southeastern market and provide the quality service we’re known for to a broader set of customers.”

In May, Tech24 expanded into central and northern Indiana with the acquisition of Indianapolis-based Facilities Management.
