Texas Roadhouse Seeks New CFO

After just under two years as Texas Roadhouse’s Chief Financial Officer, Chris Monroe is no longer with the company.

“We appreciate Chris’ nearly two years of service and wish he and his family the best as they transition back to Texas,” says Chief Executive Officer Jerry Morgan in a June 10 press release.

Until the company finds a permanent successor, Keith Humpich, vice president of finance and a Texas Roadhouse employee since February 2005, will serve as interim CFO. Humpich also served as interim CFO from January 2023 to June 2023 (when Monroe joined the brand). He has over 30 years of accounting, audit and finance experience. He also serves as co-chair of the company’s Enterprise Risk Management function, and Compliance Officer for FCPA-related matters.

Texas Roadhouse has over 790 restaurants in 49 states, one U.S. territory and 10 foreign countries.
