Thermo-Kool Vice President and Sales/Marketing Manager Teri Brewer has announced her retirement after spending more than four decades with the manufacturer.

Brewer started her career at Laurel, Miss.-based Thermo-Kool in 1980 as a receptionist. She progressed into various clerical and administrative roles and moved into sales supervisor and inside sales and marketing manager roles. Then, in 2007, she was elected by the company’s Board of Directors to take on her current position.

“It has been an honor to work with Teri for many years,” states Thermo-Kool President and CEO Rand McLaughlin in a press release. “While all of us at Thermo-Kool are sad to say farewell to a dear friend, we are excited for her enjoying a well-earned retirement with friends and family.”

Outside of her day job, Brewer has served two terms on the NAFEM Board of Directors (2013-2018), and she was a member of the NAFEM/MAFSI Liaison Committee starting in 2006. She also served as a Selection Advisory Board member for FER’s Industry Excellence Awards over the years.

Thermo-Kool manufactures walk-in refrigeration and blast chillers/shock freezers.
