Middleby brands TurboChef and CookTek have hired Bobby Lang as their regional vice president-southeast and corporate chef. Lang has over 10 years of experience as a corporate executive chef and territory manager.

Lang most recently served a manufacturers’ rep partner in MAFSI Regions 11 and 12. In that role, he managed several test kitchens and satellite kitchens throughout the territory, as well as developed and maintained relationships with equipment dealers and consultants, assisting in bid negotiations, quoting and product training.

Lang’s experience as a chef and sous chef has provided him with operations expertise while calling on end-users, including schools and chains, the release says.

Earlier this year, TurboChef and CookTek promoted Katie Cox to president and Leslie Banados to senior vice president of sales and marketing.
