Unox Names Chef Team Leader

Unox has promoted Sherief Shawky to corporate chef team leader for the U.S.

In his new role, Shawky will mentor and develop Unox’s U.S. corporate chefs to deliver consistent, high-quality culinary experiences; lead strategic key-account demos and tradeshow presentations; and coordinate nationwide training programs, recipe development and field tests that validate product performance.

Shawky, who joined Unox in 2023, also serves as an ambassador for The Burnt Chef Project.

“Chef Sherief’s creativity and operational rigor have already raised the bar for our in-house culinary support,” says Derrick Richardson, president of Unox North America, in the release. “His promotion is well-deserved, and I’m confident our customers, from independent restaurants to multiunit operators, will benefit from his guidance.”
