Chicken Salad Chick Signs Milestone Deal

Chicken Salad Chick has signed its largest franchise development deal so far. The deal will bring 25 units to communities across upstate New York. Specifically, the brand will open units in key markets such as Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and the Upper Hudson Valley.

“New York represents a tremendous growth opportunity,” says Mark Verges, vice president of franchise development at Chicken Salad Chick, in the release. The brand also states it has development opportunities in New Jersey.

Last month, Chicken Salad Chick reported it had a record-setting start in 2026, awarding 52 new restaurants in the first quarter. Overall, the brand has more than 330 restaurants across 22 states.
