Noble 33 Opens 1587 Prime With Chiefs’ Mahomes, Kelce
Highlights include an open kitchen, refrigerated display cases and a grand entrance emulating the walk into a stadium.

Hospitality group Noble 33 will officially open the contemporary steakhouse 1587 Prime on September 17. The group created the restaurant, located in Kansas City, Mo., in partnership with the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
“With 1587 Prime, we didn’t just set out to create another steakhouse. We worked with Patrick and Travis to capture the essence of Kansas City—its pride, its hospitality, and its passion for great food—while staying true to Noble 33’s brand vision and design aesthetic,” says Tosh Berman, Noble 33’s co-founder, in a release.
Noble 33 says the design, led by Berman who worked with The Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry and Noble 33’s in-house design team, “infuses modern, artistic design with subtle nods to the game.” Boelter, of Waukesha, Wis., served as the kitchen and bar equipment supplier.
A Look Inside 1587 Prime
Guests enter 1587 Prime via a narrowing tunnel that emulates the walk into a stadium. The concierge area features large, refrigerated display cases boasting premium dry-aged cuts that appear on the menu. The ground floor includes a central stage for live music, a large, 20-seat bar and banquettes. The second floor holds a semi-private dining area for 40-plus guests and a 20-seat private dining room with a discreet VIP entrance. In total, the restaurant seats 238.
Mike Klosterman, director of contract and design at Boelter, says the second-story open kitchen serves as a project highlight.
“The design, featuring a custom cooking suite and island hood, challenged us at every turn due to its complex installation requirements,” Klosterman tells FER. “Through meticulous planning and attention to detail, we delivered a flawless kitchen—with no punch list items. The result is a stunning, functional centerpiece that elevates both the culinary experience and the guest’s connection to the space.”
Overall, Klosterman says, bringing the design vision for 1587 Prime to life required intense coordination, problem-solving and teamwork. “It’s inspiring to be part of a project that not only pushes the boundaries of fine dining but also demonstrates what’s possible when passionate people and channel partners across the country unite around a bold, shared vision,” he says.
Along with 1587 Prime, Dallas-based Noble 33 restaurants include Toca Madera, Sparrow Italia, Casa Madera and Meduza Mediterrania.
