Rep Firms EPI, Hanna-Young Merge
The deal will extend EPI’s footprint into parts of Illinois and Wisconsin.
Shortly after merging with Burlis-Lawson Group, manufacturers’ rep firm EPI has announced a merger with Hanna-Young & Associates, headquartered in the greater Chicago area. The deal extends EPI’s footprint into the Chicago metro market and parts of Wisconsin.
“Chicago is one of the most important foodservice markets in the country, and Hanna-Young has built exactly the kind of presence there that we’ve been looking to establish,” says John Merris, EVP, EPI, in the release.
Tom Hanna, owner, Hanna-Young, adds, “Bringing our organizations together puts us in a position to serve our manufacturers and customers better than ever.”
The merged organization will operate across EPI’s expanding mid-central territory, with plans to integrate teams, systems and customer relationships in the months ahead. The merger will be effective Aug. 1. Both leadership teams will remain actively involved in the business.
