Polar King Welcomes Field Service Manager

Polar King International has appointed Matt Atkinson as its field service manager.

Atkinson will be responsible for overseeing the development and expansion of Polar King’s field service operations. His duties also will include building and managing a network of national trade partners, launching a refrigeration unit refurbishment program, and developing service agreements that further support Polar King customers across the country.

Atkinson has a background in project management, engineering and facilities operations. Most recently, he served as capital project manager for GoldOller Real Estate Partners. Before that, he was a portfolio engineer at SVN Park Group and a sales and project engineer with Interstate Cold Storage.

“Matt’s experience managing complex facilities, engineering projects and maintenance operations gives him a unique perspective on customer service and long-term equipment performance,” says Polar King President Dave Schenkel in the release.

Polar King offers outdoor walk-in coolers and freezers to restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, government agencies and industrial operations.
