Diversified Foodservice Supply Appoints COO

Diversified Foodservice Supply has hired Chris Cassidy as its COO. He has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning global supply chain management, logistics technology and operations.

Most recently, Cassidy served as president and CEO of ConData, a global freight audit and analytics firm. Prior to that, he was CEO of Mojix, a supply chain software company, guiding the business through its merger with Seagull Software. His career also includes time spent at GSK, UPS and Trax Technologies.

“Chris brings extensive operational expertise, technology experience, and a proven track record of leading and growing organizations,” says Lev Peker, CEO of DFS, in the release. “His background in global logistics and supply chain management will be instrumental as we strengthen our distribution capabilities, improve service for our customers, and position DFS for long-term growth.”

As COO, Cassidy will oversee DFS’s distribution, customer service, project management office, human resources and marketing operations. He’ll focus on driving accountability, strengthening operational execution and aligning DFS’s operating capabilities with commercial priorities to better serve customers and support continued growth.
