Wiesiek Król, who has been the general manager of QualServ-Follett Poland since 2017, has been promoted to president of QualServ Europe.

In this role, he will oversee manufacturing locations and executive teams in Gdansk, Poland and Viljandi, Estonia. These locations support QualServ and Middleby across all of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

“Wiesiek has proven himself to be a motivating, effective leader with deep industry knowledge and long-standing relationships. He helped build the Follett Poland facility more than 20 years ago and his dedication to his team and product quality is unmatched,” says Michael Potter, group president, in a Nov. 12 press release. “Under Wiesiek’s leadership, QualServ seamlessly expanded operations in Poland while the team received many supplier of the year recognitions from top Middleby customers. I’m confident that Wiesiek will excel in his new role, with his trademark can-do attitude and infectious positive mindset.”

Prior to Król’s most recent role with QualServ-Follett Poland, he was director of operations for the facility, which opened in 2005 as Follett Poland. He initially joined Follett in June 2004 as a manager and oversaw the construction of the Gdansk facility.
