The Kitchen Guys, a distributor based in Greater New Orleans, has acquired Hawk Inc., a dealership founded in 1978 and based in central Alabama. The acquisition will allow both companies to share resources, grow revenue and increase the services they offer each of their respective customer bases. The combined companies’ footprint includes Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and other parts of the southeast.

“We look forward to working more closely with our customers, growing our sales area and working every day to become the best foodservice equipment and supplies dealer in the southeastern states,” says Dustin Bennett, president and CEO of The Kitchen Guys, in the release.

Post-acquisition, customers and vendor partners will continue to work with the same teams.

The Kitchen Guys provides equipment sales, kitchen design, design-build services, project management, installation and smallwares to a wide range of foodservice operations. It was established in 1955 and has operated as a foodservice equipment and supplies distributor since 1986.
