Food Service Holdings Names Brian King COO

Food Service Holdings and its flagship brand, BSI LLC, have announced the appointment of Brian King as COO.

King has nearly 30 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering and business integration. He most recently served as senior vice president of operations for MicroCare LLC, where he managed facilities in the U.S., U.K., Belgium and Singapore. Over the course of his career, he has led multiple acquisitions, facility expansions, ERP implementations and operational turnarounds.

In his new role, King will lead BSI’s manufacturing, project management, estimating, purchasing and engineering departments. He also will oversee operations at BSI’s stone fabricator, Colorado Custom Stone. He’ll report directly to Food Service Holdings CEO Phil Harmon.

“Brian’s depth of operational expertise and his proven ability to lead complex, multisite manufacturing organizations make him an ideal addition to our leadership team,” says Harmon in the release. “His hands-on approach to driving efficiency and quality align perfectly with our promise to deliver the finest food shields, custom counter systems and fabricated solutions in the industry.”

In July, BSI announced the promotion of Mandi Vessey to director of business development.
