FAT Brands’ Assets Acquired for $595M 

The completed transaction includes 13 restaurant brands spanning more than 1,700 locations worldwide.

The next chapter in FAT Brands’ bankruptcy journey—which began earlier this year—was completed today, June 16, when FBG Bid Co. announced its acquisition of “substantially all assets of certain subsidiaries of FAT Brands” for approximately $595 million.

The transaction included brands Round Table Pizza, Fatburger, Marble Slab Creamery, Johnny Rockets, Fazoli’s, Great American Cookies, Buffalo’s Cafe & Express, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Pretzelmaker, Native Grill & Wings, and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses, as well as the Georgia-based manufacturing facility that supports Great American Cookies and Pretzelmaker.

The transaction was approved by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
