Marco’s Pizza Develops Operations Center
Opening this fall, the center includes a corporate office and fully equipped training kitchen.
Marco’s Pizza will open its Operations Center of Excellence, located in Orlando, Fla., this fall. The center will serve as an extension of its Toledo, Ohio-based headquarters. It will support franchisee training, strengthen operational execution and help with the brand’s continued national and international expansion.
The center represents a more than $1 million investment. It will measure about 14,000 square feet and include a fully equipped training kitchen, replicating a real Marco’s store kitchen for hands-on learning for franchisees and operators. It also will serve as a corporate office with capacity for about 50 employees.
“This investment reflects the intentional way we scale our business,” says John Meyers, COO of Marco’s, in the release. “We are building the systems, environments and capabilities that allow our franchisees not only to grow, but to operate with precision, consistency and confidence.”
Marco’s operates more than 1,200 stores in 35 states with locations in Puerto Rico, the Bahamas and Mexico. It aims to open more than 80 new stores in 2026. The center will host franchisees from around the world, it states, serving as a centralized destination for onboarding, education and collaboration.
