Baltimore-Based EMR Appoints General Manager
The new hire previously served in senior operations and marketing roles at Chipotle, followed by operations and sales roles at Cintas.
Service company Electric Motor Repair Company has hired Ron Diamond—who spent 20-plus years with Chipotle followed by a decade with Cintas—as its general manager.
When asked what drew him to EMR, Diamond says, “The sense of family, the genuine care for employees, the commitment to customer service—and the fact that EMR is a third-generation, locally owned family business—that’s what made this the right move.”
“Ron brings a collaborative, down-to-earth leadership style,” says CEO Caroline Kauffman-Kirschnick. “He is approachable, supportive, and focused on helping people grow while still maintaining clear expectations and accountability. He is relationship-focused with team members and understands that different people need different types of support to succeed.”
As he settles into his new role, Diamond’s priorities include getting to know EMR’s team, deepening his understanding of the industry, and providing the guidance and support needed to help the business continue to grow and thrive, notes the release.
Outside of work, Ron is a father of four teenagers, a food enthusiast, and a self-described multitasking pro in the kitchen, with a particular appreciation for commercial kitchen environments.
