Wasserstrom Raises $51K for Cancer Research

More than 40 Wasserstrom associates participated in Pelotonia 2026’s Ride Weekend and Gravel Day, raising $51,000 together for cancer research. Ride Weekend welcomes more than 7,500 riders to central Ohio with routes ranging from 17 to 165 miles, including one and two-day ride options. Gravel Day features adventures on scenic gravel road and outdoor trails in Southeast Ohio.

“Pelotonia has become one of the events our team looks forward to all year,” says Michal Slominski, executive vice president of information technology at Wasserstrom and Pelotonia team captain. “Cancer research is something most of us have a personal reason to care about, and it showed in how hard this team worked to raise funds and show up on ride day.”

As much as 100% of funds go toward innovative cancer research, including enhanced treatments and therapies, training the next generation of research talent, and advancing immune-oncology, prevention and early diagnosis.

In 2025, Wasserstrom, based in Columbus, Ohio, had over 30 participants and volunteers during Ride Weekend.
