Chicken Salad Chick Marks Record Growth
The fast-casual is celebrating its strongest quarter of franchise development thus far.
Chicken Salad Chick recently highlighted its Q1 2026 growth—a nearly 50% year-over-year uptick—with plans for 52 new units, compared to 35 deals in Q1 2025.
Growth was driven by new and existing operators, with seven new franchise groups and two existing franchisees expanding through multiunit agreements.
Chicken Salad Chick also entered several key markets, including Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Upstate New York, notes the press release.
“This is a defining start to the year for our brand,” says Mark Verges, vice president of franchise development at Chicken Salad Chick.
Chicken Salad Chick serves scratch-made, Southern-style chicken salad, with more than a dozen original chicken salad flavors, as well as soups, sandwiches and desserts. The chain spans over 330 restaurants across 22 states, and has over 300 locations in its development pipeline.
