This month, Newton Highlands, Mass.-based Boston Showcase Co. announced the retirement of Jack Starr and Alan Starr—both longstanding leaders of the dealer. The two officially retired on Jan. 1, 2026.

In late 2022, Jack and Alan initiated a planned transition of leadership to the fourth generation, appointing cousins Matt Starr and Andy Starr as president and CEO, respectively.

“We are profoundly grateful for Jack’s and Alan’s vision, dedication, and decades of service,” says the BSC leadership team in the Feb. 23 release. “Their commitment has been instrumental in building the foundation for our future success, and we honor their remarkable contributions to our company and the industry.”
