Qdoba Plans 50 Units in Atlanta, Nashville
The Mexican fast-casual brand aims to double in size to about 2,000 restaurants.
Qdoba Mexican Eats has signed a deal to open 30 restaurants in Atlanta, and another deal to open 20 units in Nashville, Tenn. Qdoba operates more than 865 restaurants and plans to double its footprint to about 2,000 stores in the next eight years, with 100 opening annually.
Additionally, existing franchise partner B Wild Investments has expanded its commitment to 63 units across Colorado, Utah, Washington, Nevada and New Mexico. And its affiliate 7 Star Eats has acquired 22 Qdoba restaurants in the Pacific Northwest, growing its footprint to 42 restaurants.
In the release, Qdoba states its goals include near-term expansion on the East Coast with a continued emphasis on California, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas. It’s also expanding across nontraditional venues, including airports, universities and military bases.
