Moe’s Casa Mexicana To Soon Open International Flagship
The brand’s first unit at Elan Miracle mall in Gurugram, India, will be followed by a second set to open at Ambience Mall Vasant Kunj, also in Gurugram.
On Dec. 6, the first Moe’s Casa Mexicana is set to open in India.
Moe’s Casa Mexicana is a spinoff of Moe’s Southwest Grill that was designed with international growth in mind. Its menu blends Mexican cuisine with local preferences, plus flexible store formats, including full-scale, in-line, dine-in and kiosk options.
The concept along with plans for brand’s international expansion, in partnership with Unify Foodworks, were first announced in July. In total, the brand expects to open 45 locations in India by 2033.
“We are thrilled to bring Moe’s Casa Mexicana to New Delhi and make India our first international market,” says Steven Yang, senior vice president, APAC at GoTo Foods, parent company of Moe’s Casa Mexicana. “Unify Foodworks is an experienced operator that specializes in introducing innovative dining concepts to India, and we’re proud to work with them to bring Moe’s Casa Mexicana and (sister brand) Carvel across the region.”
Domestically, Moe’s Southwest Grill has roughly 580 locations.
