BSC Adds Equipment Purchasing Manager

Boston Showcase Co. has hired Aaron Applegate as equipment purchasing manager. Applegate joins BSC with decades of foodservice equipment industry experience. Most recently, he served at Harbour Food Service Equipment, which was acquired by Imperial Dade in 2024.

In his new role, Applegate will lead BSC’s equipment purchasing function, overseeing vendor relationships, pricing strategy and procurement workflows across the company’s growing book of restaurant, hotel, education, healthcare and corporate dining projects.

“(Applegate’s) depth of experience, vendor relationships and disciplined approach to buying will pay dividends for our customers and our partners alike,” says Matt Starr, president of BSC, in the release. “Aaron’s arrival is another important step in building the team that will carry BSC into its next century.”
