CFESA Names Top Tech Throwdown Champions

Following five regional competitions, CFESA has announced the national champions of its inaugural technician competition Top Tech Throwdown.

The Hot Side Champion is Kyle Burkholder, of Clark Service Group, and the Cold Side Champion is Korney Sokol, of Duffy’s AIS. Both champions come from Region 5.

Regional finalists include the following:

Region 1: hot side: Dave Lunsford, Commercial Appliance Service; cold side: Geoff Settle, General Parts Group

Region 2: hot side: Lee Haney, SmartCare Solutions; cold side: Aaron Dell, SmartCare Solutions

Region 3: hot side: Stuart Reiman, Hagar Restaurant Service; cold side: Albert Dias, Commercial Kitchen Parts & Service

Region 4: hot side: David Imrie, Whaley Foodservice; cold side: Tim George, ATech Inc.

The national championship took place in August at CFESA headquarters in Fort Mill, S.C.
