Topgolf To Open 100th US Unit

On Dec. 5, Topgolf will open in New Braunfels, Texas, marking its 100th venue in the United States.

The location boasts 62 outdoor climate-controlled hitting bays, spanning two levels. Each bay has lounge-type furniture or high-top tables.

“Opening our 100th U.S. venue in New Braunfels is more than a milestone; it’s a celebration of the fun, energy and innovation that makes Topgolf unlike any other entertainment experience out there,” states Erin Chamberlin, Topgolf chief operating officer and interim president. “We’re excited to mark this momentous occasion in the community of New Braunfels and grow our loyal Player base for years to come.”

The brand also has 12 international locations—four in the U.K. and one apiece in Australia, Austria, China, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. Units in Colombia, Portugal and Spain are on deck, according to the brand’s website.

In other news, Topgolf Callaway Brands Corp. recently announced it would sell a 60% stake in its Topgolf and Toptracer business to private equity funds managed by Leonard Green & Partners. The transaction values Topgolf at approximately $1.1 billion.
