AeriTek Acquires Federal Industries
The addition adds ‘an expansive network of dealer relationships,’ a domestic manufacturing facility and more.
AeriTek Global Holdings has acquired Federal Industries, a manufacturer of refrigerated, heated and ambient food and beverage merchandising display cases.
The deal, announced March 9, deepens AeriTek’s U.S. foodservice footprint and adds domestic manufacturing capabilities.
“We are thrilled to welcome Federal into the AeriTek family,” says Antony Besso, chief executive officer and executive chairman of AeriTek, in a release. “Federal’s deep relationships with U.S. foodservice dealers and distributors, combined with its vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Wisconsin, give us both the commercial reach and domestic production capacity we need to accelerate growth in the U.S. market. This acquisition is a natural extension of our platform and we look forward to building on this momentum.”
While Federal Industries marks the company’s latest addition, AeriTek also grew its portfolio last year when it acquired Due North, which entails the Minus Forty and QBD brands.
