Vietnam Trade Show Reports Surge In Attendance

Vietnam’s biggest food and hospitality tradeshow got a lot bigger this fall. The sixth biennial Food & Hotel Vietnam, Sept. 28-30, recorded a 26% increase in attendance. The three-day event at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center welcomed 12,075 attendees, up from 9,860 in 2009.

Three-quarters of the show’s 373 exhibitors were from overseas, representing 30 countries and regions. Also growing was the number of international group pavilions; the show’s 15 pavilions marked a 66% increase over the previous edition.

The event, organized by Singapore Exhibition Services, is next scheduled Sept. 25-27, 2013.
