Ace Mart Honors Top Reps, Appoints Brand Director

Last month’s Southwest Foodservice Expo in Dallas was the setting for Ace Mart Restaurant Supply’s annual rep of the year awards.

The San Antonio-based, family-owned E&S dealer named Mark Lemons & Associates as its Independent Rep of the Year. Honorees were Tony Dettling, Steve Dumar, Doris Dettling and Mark Lemons. It is the firm’s second win.

David McDonald, Jim Greyson and David Osmar of The Vollrath Co. were honored as Factory Reps of the Year-Smallwares. Factory Rep of the Year- Equipment honors went to Lee Elliott and Randy Bates from True Mfg. It was the sixth win for True and the fifth award for Vollrath.

In additional news, Ace Mart also has appointed Electrolux veteran Anthony Salemi as its new director of brand and business development. Salemi will hold senior management responsibilities while developing the Ace Mart brand of products and contributing to product and vendor selection. He joins Ace Mart from Electrolux, where he most recently managed the Kelvinator commercial refrigeration product line.
