Thibert Named President At TriMark United East

Joseph Thibert has assumed the post of president of TriMark United East, a major equipment and supplies dealership based in South Attleboro, Mass. Jerry Hyman will continue in his current capacity as president and CEO of TriMark USA.

Thibert was the founder and president of Cafco Development, a Boston-based general contracting firm specializing in restaurant construction. Thibert has been a lecturer at Boston University’s School of Hospitality and has been involved with real-estate development. He served on TriMark’s board of directors for their previous equity partner, Bradford Equities.          

Hyman said that Thibert’s hiring for the United East post freed him to focus more closely on growing TriMark USA. “I have known Joe and worked closely with him for over 20 years,” he stated. “Joe’s first passion has always been the foodservice industry and he has now made a decision to return to this industry full time. TriMark United East will benefit from his extensive industry knowledge and proven skills.”

TriMark United East is one of TriMark USA’s 12 operating facilities. Its other divisions and affiliates include TriMark Raygal and TriMark RobertClark, both in Irvine, Calif.; TriMark Marlinn in Chicago; TriMark Foodcraft in Winston-Salem, N.C.; TriMark SS Kemp in Cleveland and Pittsburgh; TriMark Gill in Phoenix and Crofton, Md.; TriMark Economy in San Francisco and Sacramento, Calif.; TriMark South in Atlanta; and BigTray in San Francisco.
