FCSI Moves Headquarters, Offers Free Services At New York Show

Big news from Foodservice Consultants Society Int’l: The association has relocated its world headquarters to Louisville, Ky., and for the first time, its Americas Division will be offering free design and management advisory services to operators attending the International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show.

Through its “Ask the Experts” service, FCSI-The Americas will offer free consultations to operators, Nov. 10-13 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. During the show, FCSI members will offer attendees 30-minute meetings to discuss solutions for front- and back-of-the-house and management advisory issues.

While FCSI-The Americas has provided these services to a number of industry events over the years, this marks the first time they will be offered at IHRMS. Operators who would like to reserve a space in one of the 42 “Ask the Experts” meetings may book an appointment on a first-come, first-served basis through the IHMRS website.

In another major announcement, FCSI’s new worldwide headquarters have relocated to Louisville, Ky. FCSI Worldwide is now being managed by AEC Management Resources, which also will be managing the FCSI Educational Foundation, the organization’s scholarship-giving arm. The team will be managed by Nick Vaccaront. AEC is headed by Greg Jewell, former executive v.p. of the Society for Foodservice Management.

FCSI has more than 1,300 members in nearly 50 countries. FCSI Worldwide is comprised of three divisions: The Americas Division, Europe-Africa-Middle East and the Asia Pacific Division.
